SKILLS REQUIRED FOR SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER AT GENPACT

 

·        Ability to develop and implement scalable and sustainable automation frameworks.
·        Comprehensive understanding of testing techniques, tools, and procedures.
·        Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
·        Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and associated tools.
·        Highly valued certifications in QA, Java, Selenium, Cypress, and/or Playwright.
·        Demonstrated accountability and responsibility in handling client requests.
·        Experience in Agile environments, particularly Safe Agile methodology, is preferred.
·        Excellent communication abilities.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR GENPACT

 

 

·        Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans, documenting bugs, and collaborating with developers to enhance software quality.

·        Work closely with cross-functional teams to grasp project requirements and devise effective test plans and strategies.
·        Create and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
·        Lead the implementation of best practices for test automation, encompassing framework design, code reviews, and continuous integration.
·        Mentor team members in automation techniques and tools, fostering a culture of innovation and learning.
·        Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
·        Analyze test results and offer insights to stakeholders, driving continuous software quality enhancement.
·        Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging QA and automation technologies to spearhead innovation and process enhancements.
·        Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts and guarantee timely delivery of quality releases.
